Myth: Dealers who are losing are moved to another table.
False. When a dealer is taken off a table this is due to pre-determined shift changes and breaks. It has nothing to do with the casino winning or losing.

Myth: The dealer can make you lose or win.
False. The casino can under no circumstances predict or manipulate the outcome of a game. The roulette wheels and shufflers operate totally randomly. Dealers are not aware of the next card to be drawn or number to be struck on the roulette wheel.

Myth: If someone hits a jackpot at the machine you just left, you would have won that jackpot if you had continued playing.
False. If you had stayed at the machine it is highly unlikely you would have started the game at the exact nano-second to display that particular winning combination of numbers. In the time it takes to talk to a friend the game has cycled through thousands of combinations.

Myth: If you use your club card the machine will pay back less.
False. There is no link between the random number generator and the card reader. The computer systems used by casinos are for the purpose of monitoring and collating information on player tracking and slot machines. They cannot influence the outcome of any game. In short the system cannot transmit any instructions to the machines.

Myth: The temperature of the coins or the temperature of the machine will affect the way a machine pays.
